PARDON OUR DUST

The installation PARDON OUR DUST was created for The Related Group’s reinvention of Cityplace, which after this installation became Rosemary’s Square. The project was a dash of time and energy. Construction would begin in a month, and was meant to engage the public and utilize available resources from previous projects. What do you do in 3 days with 150 gallons of industrial blue latex paint?

Pardon Our Dust, an interactive mural. Each bubble was given prompts for the public to draw and fill. Immediately after allowing the public access, they did engage.

3 days, 5 minions, 12,000 sq ft covered.

Special thanks to, Gopaul and Sasha of The Related Group, Reese Henricks Blanke, Katherine Moriarty, Piper Waterhouse, Maddison Oatley, and especially Mason Dixon.
